Weber Workshops Spring Clean™

The Weber Workshops Spring Clean™ is a clever backflushing tool designed to make espresso machine cleaning faster, cleaner and far more effective. Instead of relying on the small volume of water used in a standard blind flush, it builds up a full 200 mL reservoir and then releases that entire volume back through the brewing path, over the 3-way solenoid and into the drip tray. The result is a much more substantial clean with every cycle, using roughly 20 times more water than a normal backflush. 

What makes it especially appealing is how practical it is in daily use. The see-thru polymer body lets you actually watch the cleaning process, so there is less guesswork and a clearer sense of when your machine is properly flushed. Weber also designed the polymer version with an in-house stainless steel safety valve and an overflow channel, helping direct excess water neatly into the drip tray while keeping pressure away from the retaining tabs. It feels technical, but in use it is simply a smarter and tidier way to care for your machine. 

The Spring Clean™ fits standard 58 mm espresso machines that use a pump and backflush system, including E61 group heads, most La Marzocco machines except the KB-90, and Decent machines. It is not compatible with the Gaggia Classic Pro, Breville machines, or machines using Bezzera BZ brew groups. For those who switch coffees often, it is also a useful way to clear out residual oils between shots and keep the cup cleaner from one espresso to the next.
