The Weber Workshops Buck Rubber is a naked portafilter machined from forged and polished stainless steel, designed to sit flat on the counter for a cleaner, more stable tamping workflow. Finished with a thick FKM rubber handle over a solid stainless core, it brings a more refined, durable and considered feel to everyday espresso preparation.

The Weber Workshops Buck Rubber takes the naked portafilter and strips it back to what actually matters: precision, durability and a better workflow at the machine. Machined from a block of forged and polished stainless steel, it has a level of heft and finish that feels far removed from standard portafilters, both in hand and on the counter. 

What makes the Buck especially practical is its flat-bottom design. Instead of balancing awkwardly on the edge of the counter while tamping, it sits flat and stable, making prep feel cleaner and more controlled from dose to extraction. It is a small shift in form, but one that makes a real difference in daily use. 

The Rubber version pairs that stainless body with a thick FKM rubber handle wrapped around a solid stainless core, giving it a more technical, understated look while keeping the feel substantial and built to last. Optimized for Weber’s Unibasket system but compatible with standard 58mm baskets as well, the Buck is a simple but serious upgrade for espresso setups that value both function and form. Weber currently lists it as in stock and shipping immediately.

  • Fits standard 58mm portafilter groups incorporating E61 design with exposed group, including:
    La Marzocco (all except KB-90), Slayer, Synesso, Kees VanDer Westen, Decent, Flair 58, etc.
  • Victoria Arduino & La Marzocco Micra and Mini: The BUCK will lock in and seal, however it locks in significantly to the right of center potentially interfering with position of steam wand if left in group while steaming.
  • Not compatible with Breville/Sage or Gaggia Classic Pro, or similar proprietary non-E61 groups.
