FAQ
We recommend letting our coffees rest for at least 10-14 days before brewing. Because of our roasting style most coffees will already taste great after a few days post roasting, but will develop even more intensity and flavours after 10-21 days, depending on roast, origin, altitude, processing and other bean characteristics. The coffees will keep their vibrancy for at least 1.5 month before they will lose some of their character, although we have had many of our coffees still taste amazing after 4+ months.
From all over the world. We’re always on the lookout for standout coffee, whether it’s a clean, classic pulped natural Brazil or an extremely rare variety that we’ve secured exclusively. Our goal is to offer a real experience in every cup.
We source either directly from producers or with just one step in between (exporter/importer). This keeps our supply chain short, traceable, and transparent. Most of the producers we work with we know personally, we’ve met them at origin, hosted them at our space, or we stay in touch regularly.
Absolutely. All our coffees are roasted in-house at the Van Nelle Fabriek, an iconic location with a rich history. You can read more about it on our About page.
Our refill packs are designed to reduce packaging waste, so they’re a bit different from traditional coffee bags. We pack as fresh as possible, which means some natural degassing or sharp beans might cause the vacuum seal to loosen during shipping. This won’t impact quality right away.
For best results, transfer your coffee into an airtight container after opening. Our A.M.O.C. jars are great for this, but any proper storage works. Refill packs are meant for refilling, not for long-term storage, hence the name.

We offer two styles: espresso roast and our regular filter roast.
Our filter roast is designed for clarity and character but is also highly soluble, making it a great choice for espresso if you’re into more expressive extractions.
If you prefer more classic, rounded espresso profiles, go for our espresso-specific roasts. They’re designed for higher solubility and a deeper, fuller cup.
Shipping
We roast and ship multiple times a week, usually on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Sometimes we shift these days slightly if we have events or other commitments.
Most orders are shipped within 48 hours, except for those placed late on Friday or weekend. In that case, they’re almost always shipped the following Monday.
If you’re lucky we can sometimes even ship the same day your ordered, and if the couriers do their best you can already have it on your doorstep the next day.
You’ll receive a notification with tracking details by email as soon as your order is on its way.
Delivery times depend on your location and the courier.
Within the Netherlands, PostNL can often deliver the next day, but there’s no guaranteed delivery window.
We work with trusted partners PostNL, UPS, and DHL Express to get your order to you as quickly as possible. Once it leaves our hands, timing is in the hands of the courier, but we always do our best to make it fast and smooth.
Yes, we ship worldwide. Whether you’re in Europe, the US, Asia, or somewhere further from us, we’ll do our best to get our coffee to your doorstep.
We work with reliable shipping partners like UPS, DHL Express, and PostNL to ensure safe and efficient international delivery. Shipping rates and delivery times vary depending on your location and the shipping option you choose at checkout.
Please note that for orders outside the EU, customs duties or import taxes may apply. These are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our pricing.

Yes, we do:
– Within the Netherlands: free shipping on orders over >€50
– Within the EU & UK: free shipping on orders over >€250
– Outside the EU/UK: free shipping is not something we offer standard, but is possible depending on the order size (>€1000,-) and location. Get in touch and we’ll be happy to provide a quote.
Shipping costs for smaller orders are calculated at checkout based on your location and selected courier.
Returns
Returns or exchanges are only accepted for items that were damaged in transit or incorrectly shipped.
Items must be returned in their original, undamaged packaging to qualify for a refund. Coffee products cannot be returned due to health and safety regulations.
Return shipping costs, including any customs fees, are the customer’s responsibility unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
To request a refund or exchange, email us within 30 days of your order date. Include clear photos showing any damage or incorrect items.
Refunds exclude shipping costs unless otherwise agreed.
Get in touch with us. If something’s gone wrong with your order, whether it arrived damaged or you received the wrong item, send us an email within 30 days of your order date.
Please include clear photos showing the issue so we can evaluate it and sort it out quickly.
Orders
We do not accept general returns or exchanges once an order has been placed and shipped. This includes changes of mind, incorrect selections, or preferences in taste.
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, we’ll of course make it right. Just get in touch with us directly.
You’re welcome to send us an email if you need to change or cancel your order, but we can’t guarantee we’ll be able to make adjustments in time.
We process and ship quickly, and since all sales are generally final, changes aren’t always possible. That said, we’ll always do our best to help if we can!

Payments
We accept a wide range of secure payment methods, including major credit cards, iDEAL, PayPal, and other regional options depending on your location.
All payments are processed securely. Prices are listed in euros (€), and if you’re ordering from outside the EU, your bank or payment provider may apply currency conversion or international fees.
