The Hario MUGEN × Switch brings together two of Hario’s most interesting ideas in one brewer: the low-bypass MUGEN dripper and the immersion control of the Switch.
Use it fully open as a regular pour-over, close the valve for immersion, or combine both in the same brew. It gives you more control over contact time, flow and extraction, without making the brew feel complicated.
The MUGEN’s smooth inner wall and star-shaped grooves are designed to reduce channeling, while the Switch base lets you hold and release the brew whenever you want. Clean, controlled and very easy to experiment with.
A nice detail: the brewer can be taken apart. The MUGEN cone can be removed from the Switch base, and the base can also be used with the OREA Regulator, giving you even more ways to play with immersion, flow regulation and hybrid recipes.
A simple brewer, but with a lot of room to explore.
