We all know how a caffeine hit can lead to higher performance in the workplace. With this Full Roastery Experience, your team will take a 3-hour deep-dive into the world of specialty coffee, focusing on knowledge, sensory skills, and team building.

The Full Roastery Experience includes:

— a guided tour through the roastery;

— a playful coffee tasting, testing your team’s sensory skills;

— (optional) pizza, drinks & some matches of ping pong for team building;

— a whole lot of coffee. 

Tour

A guided tour through the roastery. Take a walk around the roastery of A Matter of Concrete while Rob, the founder, takes you through the history of the Van Nelle Factory, A.M.O.C., how we roast & how we work. 

Coffee tasting

We’ll guide you through a focused tasting session and introduce you to a selection of our current coffees, getting a feel for their character and range. After that, we’ll turn it into a subtle team challenge, designed to sharpen the senses, encourage collaboration, and reward the team that reads the cup best. A winning team included.

Pizza, drinks & ping pong (optional)

We’ll invite a pizzaiolo to cook up some fresh pizzas on the spot, while your team can enjoying wines, beers & non-alcoholic drinks. Our ping pong table will be ready for some intense matches of ping pong (let us know if there are any dietary preferences, and we’ll make sure there’s an alternative)

NOTE: this event is also suitable for non-coffee drinkers. During the coffee tasting, there is always the option to spit the coffee, so no caffeine will actually be consumed. Plus, non-coffee drinkers will be way more sensitive to the coffee’s flavours, enhancing your team’s chances to win. Just saying. 

This event is suitable for a minimum of 12 and maximum of approx. 30 people
