Kiki is NI WARES’ filter cup built as a sensory tool, not just drinkware. It’s designed in collaboration with Jerome Rosler, a World Brewers Cup champion roaster and multiple-time Canadian Brewers Cup finalist, and it’s tuned around a simple but underrated truth, how you drink changes what you taste.
The signature detail is the dual-lip rim. Sip from the thin side and you tend to get more lift, clarity, and acidity. Switch to the thicker side and the same brew reads rounder, with more body and perceived sweetness. It’s a small physical change that makes tasting feel more intentional, especially when you’re comparing brews or dialing in a coffee.
Then there’s the pink glaze, intentionally chosen for its role in perception. NI WARES claims it can enhance perceived sweetness by up to 40 percent, making Kiki a visual and sensory extension of the cup, particularly with tropical, fruit-forward filter coffees. Capacity is 200ml, porcelain ceramic, designed for daily use.
