NiWares × Timemore Bouba Cup White/Pink

BOUBA is a filter cup built around one idea, the cup is part of the brew.

NI WARES designed it using sensory science and competition feedback, with a dual-lipped rim that literally changes how the coffee hits your palate. One side is a thinner, sharper lip that tends to lift brighter, more delicate notes, the other side is a thicker, raised lip that leans into texture, intensity, and perceived sweetness. Same brew, two readouts. 

The rounded body is meant to concentrate aromatics and encourage swirling, and the small dimple at the base helps keep sediment from settling dead-still. It’s also designed to survive real service, dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and made for busy cafe use. 

For a black and white version, this is the cleanest expression of the concept, high contrast, minimal presence, and a piece that looks as deliberate as it performs.
