Also this one comes from our friend Herbert at LaREB.

A Natural Anoxic Gesha that’s as much about grit as it is about flavor.

Jorge Andrade spent decades in the fruit business—apples, stone fruits, the whole thing. But when the Colombia-Venezuela border closed in 2018, demand crashed. Overnight, his livelihood disappeared.

Out of options but not out of fight, Jorge turned to Orlando Sánchez, a familiar name in the specialty coffee world. Orlando handed him Rosado and other coffee seeds—a small chance, but a real one.

Fast-forward to today, and Jorge—now known as Pikudo—has carved out his place in coffee. His latest production of Gesha is proof: meticulous, complex, and full of character.

Anoxic Natural Process

Overripe picking → 12h in-husk resting → 60h enclosed fermentation → 20-day greenhouse drying.

A story of resilience in every cup.
